# Spark vs Shift It

The clearest difference is ads: Spark at none against Shift It's shown. Shift It's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spark sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Shift It sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spark ships an update every 5 weeks, Shift It every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
