# handEye vs TopGuru

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: handEye at none against TopGuru's 30. handEye also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 29%). TopGuru's advantage is ratings volume (412 vs 6) and rating (3.5 vs 3.2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopGuru sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. handEye asks for nothing beyond the download.

TopGuru holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopGuru has 412 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of handEye's written reviews are positive against 29% of TopGuru's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

handEye ships an update every 3 months, TopGuru every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
