# Solitaire vs Solitaire Wizard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Solitaire Wizard at every 3 days against Solitaire's every 2 months. Solitaire Wizard also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Solitaire's advantage is ratings volume (563 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Solitaire Wizard sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solitaire Wizard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire has 563 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Solitaire ships an update every 2 months, Solitaire Wizard every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
