# iTopography vs Natural Text

The clearest difference is update cadence: Natural Text at weekly against iTopography's every 4 months. iTopography's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTopography sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Natural Text sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iTopography ships an update every 4 months, Natural Text weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
