# CalendarLife vs Date Today

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CalendarLife at 80% against Date Today's 29%. CalendarLife also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (548 vs 27). Date Today's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalendarLife sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and Date Today sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CalendarLife holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CalendarLife has 548 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of CalendarLife's written reviews are positive against 29% of Date Today's.

CalendarLife ships an update every 6 weeks, Date Today every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
