# Timer+ Countdown & Stopwatch vs Performance Timer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Performance Timer at none against Timer+ Countdown & Stopwatch's 10. Performance Timer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 67%). Timer+ Countdown & Stopwatch's advantage is ratings volume (41K vs 63) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer+ Countdown & Stopwatch sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Performance Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timer+ Countdown & Stopwatch holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timer+ Countdown & Stopwatch has 41K ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Timer+ Countdown & Stopwatch's written reviews are positive against 83% of Performance Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
