# TN vs Crónica HD

The clearest difference is rating: Crónica HD at 5.0 against TN's 3.5. TN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (39 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Crónica HD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TN has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TN ships an update every 6 weeks, Crónica HD every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
