# KLM vs SmartTravelling

The clearest difference is rating: KLM at 4.8 against SmartTravelling's 1.0. KLM also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 25) and ratings volume (54K vs 1). SmartTravelling's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 40%). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartTravelling sells 24 one-off in-app purchases. KLM asks for nothing beyond the download.

KLM holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KLM has 54K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of KLM's written reviews are positive against 61% of SmartTravelling's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
