# Sleep Talk Recorder vs Ghost Vision SLS

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sleep Talk Recorder at every 3 weeks against Ghost Vision SLS's every 4 months. Sleep Talk Recorder also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 354) and review sentiment (58% vs 48%). Ghost Vision SLS's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sleep Talk Recorder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Ghost Vision SLS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ghost Vision SLS holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sleep Talk Recorder has 2.7K ratings behind it against 354, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Sleep Talk Recorder's written reviews are positive against 48% of Ghost Vision SLS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sleep Talk Recorder ships an update every 3 weeks, Ghost Vision SLS every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
