# KSUMobile vs UC Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: KSUMobile at 3.1 against UC Mobile's 2.7. KSUMobile also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (17 vs 3). UC Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KSUMobile holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KSUMobile has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of KSUMobile's written reviews are positive against 43% of UC Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KSUMobile ships an update every 4 months, UC Mobile every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
