# Auction Sniper vs StackerTools App

The clearest difference is rating: Auction Sniper at 4.7 against StackerTools App's 4.3. Auction Sniper also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 19). StackerTools App's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (94% vs 78%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Auction Sniper holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Auction Sniper has 1.7K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Auction Sniper's written reviews are positive against 94% of StackerTools App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Auction Sniper ships an update every 2 months, StackerTools App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
