# Auction Sniper vs eBid

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Auction Sniper at 78% against eBid's 15%. Auction Sniper also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.1) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 46). eBid's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (10.3 vs 14.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Auction Sniper holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Auction Sniper has 1.7K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Auction Sniper's written reviews are positive against 15% of eBid's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
