# Spirits vs Shapik

The clearest difference is rating: Shapik at 4.3 against Spirits's 3.6. Shapik also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months) and price ($1.99 vs $2.99). Spirits's advantage is review sentiment (89% vs 57%) and ratings volume (65 vs 3). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Spirits costs $2.99 and Shapik $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shapik holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spirits has 65 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Spirits's written reviews are positive against 57% of Shapik's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spirits ships an update every 3 months, Shapik every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
