# ToonCamera vs Teleprompter for iPad

The clearest difference is monetization model: ToonCamera at paid against Teleprompter for iPad's subscription. ToonCamera also leads on ratings volume (8.6K vs 39) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Teleprompter for iPad's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Both are free to download. ToonCamera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Teleprompter for iPad sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
