# ToonCamera vs 28Rcam

The clearest difference is update cadence: 28Rcam at every 5 days against ToonCamera's every 3 months. ToonCamera's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToonCamera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and 28Rcam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ToonCamera ships an update every 3 months, 28Rcam every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
