# iTorch Pro Flashlight vs Flashlight

The clearest difference is price: Flashlight at Free against iTorch Pro Flashlight's $1.99. Flashlight also leads on ratings volume (99K vs 140) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). iTorch Pro Flashlight's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On review sentiment, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Flashlight is free to download; iTorch Pro Flashlight costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flashlight holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashlight has 99K ratings behind it against 140, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of iTorch Pro Flashlight's written reviews are positive against 90% of Flashlight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
