# De Morgen Print Editie vs VRT NWS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VRT NWS at none against De Morgen Print Editie's 6. VRT NWS also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (79 vs 5). De Morgen Print Editie's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 31%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. De Morgen Print Editie sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. VRT NWS asks for nothing beyond the download.

VRT NWS holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VRT NWS has 79 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of De Morgen Print Editie's written reviews are positive against 31% of VRT NWS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

De Morgen Print Editie ships an update every 4 months, VRT NWS weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
