# Princess Camera vs SNOW

The clearest difference is price: SNOW at Free against Princess Camera's $1.99. SNOW also leads on ratings volume (37K vs 9) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). Princess Camera's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18) and ads (none vs shown). On device support there is nothing between them.

SNOW is free to download; Princess Camera costs $1.99 up front. SNOW sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Princess Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

SNOW holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SNOW has 37K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Princess Camera's written reviews are positive against 56% of SNOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Princess Camera ships an update every 3 weeks, SNOW weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
