# iLed Flashlight vs FlashLight

The clearest difference is rating: FlashLight at 4.3 against iLed Flashlight's 3.2. FlashLight also leads on ratings volume (358 vs 71). iLed Flashlight's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (94% vs 82%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iLed Flashlight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FlashLight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlashLight holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlashLight has 358 ratings behind it against 71, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of iLed Flashlight's written reviews are positive against 82% of FlashLight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iLed Flashlight ships an update every 10 days, FlashLight monthly. The most recent releases landed on July 21, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
