# iLed Flashlight vs Torch Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Torch Timer at 4.6 against iLed Flashlight's 3.2. Torch Timer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). iLed Flashlight's advantage is review sentiment (94% vs 63%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iLed Flashlight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Torch Timer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Torch Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 73 and 191 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of iLed Flashlight's written reviews are positive against 63% of Torch Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iLed Flashlight ships an update every 10 days, Torch Timer every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
