# GlobalView vs CamView Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: GlobalView at 5.0 against CamView Mobile's 4.0. GlobalView also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.2). CamView Mobile's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GlobalView holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CamView Mobile has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

GlobalView ships an update every 9 months, CamView Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
