The clearest difference is review sentiment: 优酷视频HD at 58% against MangoTV's 13%. HD also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (31K vs 718). MangoTV's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HD sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and MangoTV sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HD holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 优酷视频HD has 31K ratings behind it against 718, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of 优酷视频HD's written reviews are positive against 13% of MangoTV's.

HD ships an update fortnightly, MangoTV monthly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
