# Puzzle Planet vs Jigsaw Puzzles Cities

The clearest difference is ads: Puzzle Planet at none against Jigsaw Puzzles Cities's shown. Puzzle Planet also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 16.0). Jigsaw Puzzles Cities's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Puzzle Planet sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Jigsaw Puzzles Cities sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jigsaw Puzzles Cities holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 26 and 49 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Puzzle Planet's written reviews are positive against 77% of Jigsaw Puzzles Cities's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Puzzle Planet ships an update every 3 months, Jigsaw Puzzles Cities every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
