# cleveland.com vs News

The clearest difference is review sentiment: News at 100% against cleveland.com's 30%. News also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). cleveland.com's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. cleveland.com sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. News asks for nothing beyond the download.

News holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: cleveland.com has 12K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of cleveland.com's written reviews are positive against 100% of News's.

cleveland.com ships an update every 3 weeks, News every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
