# Working time lite vs Work Log

The clearest difference is rating: Work Log at 4.3 against Working time lite's 2.2. Work Log also leads on ratings volume (817 vs 6). Working time lite's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 28%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Working time lite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Work Log sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Work Log holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Work Log has 817 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Working time lite's written reviews are positive against 28% of Work Log's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Working time lite ships an update every 9 days, Work Log every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
