# Gift Plan vs Lists

The clearest difference is price: Lists at Free against Gift Plan's $0.99. Lists also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Gift Plan's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 2.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Lists is free to download; Gift Plan costs $0.99 up front. Lists sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Gift Plan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Gift Plan holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gift Plan has 213 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Gift Plan's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lists's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gift Plan ships an update every 2 months, Lists every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
