# BSDR Player vs Bi

The clearest difference is price: Bi at Free against BSDR Player's $4.99. Bi also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Bi is free to download; BSDR Player costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bi holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 29 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of BSDR Player's written reviews are positive against 62% of Bi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BSDR Player ships an update every 11 months, Bi every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
