# truTV vs FANSEAT

The clearest difference is rating: truTV at 4.5 against FANSEAT's 1.8. truTV also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 4) and review sentiment (15% vs 5%). FANSEAT's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

truTV holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: truTV has 14K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 15% of truTV's written reviews are positive against 5% of FANSEAT's.

truTV ships an update every 3 months, FANSEAT fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
