# truTV vs AltitudePlus+

The clearest difference is rating: truTV at 4.5 against AltitudePlus+'s 4.0. truTV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (14K vs 3K). AltitudePlus+'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AltitudePlus+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.95 per month. truTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

truTV holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14K and 3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of truTV's written reviews are positive against 22% of AltitudePlus+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
