# Photo Date&Time vs LAYÒUT

The clearest difference is price: Photo Date&Time at Free against LAYÒUT's $0.99. LAYÒUT's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 2.6) and ads (none vs shown). On update cadence, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Photo Date&Time is free to download; LAYÒUT costs $0.99 up front. Photo Date&Time sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LAYÒUT sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LAYÒUT holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LAYÒUT has 1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Photo Date&Time's written reviews are positive against 41% of LAYÒUT's.

Photo Date&Time ships an update every 4 weeks, LAYÒUT every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
