# MLS vs MarchTrack

The clearest difference is rating: MarchTrack at 5.0 against MLS's 4.5. MarchTrack also leads on ads (none vs shown). MLS's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MarchTrack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MLS has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MLS ships an update every 9 days, MarchTrack every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
