# BaldBooth vs AI Face Magic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BaldBooth at 70% against AI Face Magic's 17%. BaldBooth also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). AI Face Magic's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AI Face Magic holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 832 and 901 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of BaldBooth's written reviews are positive against 17% of AI Face Magic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BaldBooth ships an update every 2 months, AI Face Magic every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
