# Daily Press vs DPR

The clearest difference is rating: DPR at 5.0 against Daily Press's 4.4. DPR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). Daily Press's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 1) and review sentiment (24% vs 0%). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Press sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. DPR asks for nothing beyond the download.

DPR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Press has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Daily Press's written reviews are positive against 0% of DPR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daily Press ships an update monthly, DPR every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
