# MyRemoteKeypad vs TSCHI

The clearest difference is rating: TSCHI at 5.0 against MyRemoteKeypad's 2.0. TSCHI also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months). MyRemoteKeypad's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TSCHI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyRemoteKeypad has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyRemoteKeypad ships an update every 8 months, TSCHI every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
