# Gas Giants vs Magic Fluids

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Gas Giants at none against Magic Fluids's 9. Gas Giants also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (78% vs 48%). Magic Fluids's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 25). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Fluids sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Gas Giants asks for nothing beyond the download.

Magic Fluids holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Fluids has 4.7K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Gas Giants's written reviews are positive against 48% of Magic Fluids's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gas Giants ships an update every 6 months, Magic Fluids every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
