# SatFinder vs Staslink

The clearest difference is price: Staslink at Free against SatFinder's $5.99. Staslink also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 344). SatFinder's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On rating, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Staslink is free to download; SatFinder costs $5.99 up front. Staslink sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. SatFinder asks for nothing beyond the download.

SatFinder holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Staslink has 20K ratings behind it against 344, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of SatFinder's written reviews are positive against 57% of Staslink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
