# SatFinder vs Satellite Tracker Pro

The clearest difference is price: Satellite Tracker Pro at Free against SatFinder's $5.99. Satellite Tracker Pro also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 54%). SatFinder's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Satellite Tracker Pro is free to download; SatFinder costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SatFinder holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SatFinder has 344 ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of SatFinder's written reviews are positive against 72% of Satellite Tracker Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SatFinder ships an update every 2 months, Satellite Tracker Pro every 11 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
