# SatFinder vs Textcraft

The clearest difference is update cadence: Textcraft at every 5 days against SatFinder's every 2 months. Textcraft also leads on price ($4.99 vs $5.99). SatFinder's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (344 vs 20). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

SatFinder costs $5.99 and Textcraft $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SatFinder holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SatFinder has 344 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of SatFinder's written reviews are positive against 60% of Textcraft's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SatFinder ships an update every 2 months, Textcraft every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
