# SatFinder vs Satellite Dish

The clearest difference is price: Satellite Dish at Free against SatFinder's $5.99. Satellite Dish also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). SatFinder's advantage is ratings volume (344 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Satellite Dish is free to download; SatFinder costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Satellite Dish holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SatFinder has 344 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SatFinder ships an update every 2 months, Satellite Dish every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
