# Calculator₊ vs blank* note

The clearest difference is rating: Calculator₊ at 4.7 against blank* note's 4.0. Calculator₊ also leads on ratings volume (1.7M vs 1) and chart position (#89 vs unranked). blank* note's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calculator₊ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and blank* note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Calculator₊ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator₊ has 1.7M ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Calculator₊'s written reviews are positive against 100% of blank* note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Calculator₊ ships an update fortnightly, blank* note every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
