# Rect Clock vs Clock mini

The clearest difference is rating: Clock mini at 5.0 against Rect Clock's 3.7. Clock mini also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (5 vs 2). Rect Clock's advantage is ratings volume (168 vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rect Clock sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Clock mini sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clock mini holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rect Clock has 168 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 59% and 59% positive.

Rect Clock ships an update every 2 weeks, Clock mini every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
