# Rect Clock vs World Clock Pro

The clearest difference is rating: World Clock Pro at 4.8 against Rect Clock's 3.7. World Clock Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (77% vs 59%). Rect Clock's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rect Clock sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and World Clock Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

World Clock Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: World Clock Pro has 1.4K ratings behind it against 168, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Rect Clock's written reviews are positive against 77% of World Clock Pro's.

Rect Clock ships an update every 2 weeks, World Clock Pro every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
