# DaySmart Salon Software vs Mangomint

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mangomint at none against DaySmart Salon Software's 2. Mangomint also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (68% vs 59%). DaySmart Salon Software's advantage is ratings volume (5.4K vs 56) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DaySmart Salon Software sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Mangomint asks for nothing beyond the download.

DaySmart Salon Software holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DaySmart Salon Software has 5.4K ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of DaySmart Salon Software's written reviews are positive against 68% of Mangomint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DaySmart Salon Software ships an update every 3 weeks, Mangomint every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
