# Learn Spanish Cards vs Drops

The clearest difference is rating: Drops at 4.7 against Learn Spanish Cards's 3.9. Drops also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (72K vs 147). Learn Spanish Cards's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Spanish Cards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Drops sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drops holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drops has 72K ratings behind it against 147, so its average is the more settled of the two. Learn Spanish Cards ships an update every 3 months, Drops every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
