# Heathrow Express vs Solace Secure

The clearest difference is monetization model: Heathrow Express at free against Solace Secure's subscription. Heathrow Express also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Solace Secure's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 30%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Solace Secure holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Heathrow Express has 6.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
