# Wheelmap vs The Toilet Map

The clearest difference is rating: The Toilet Map at 3.7 against Wheelmap's 2.9. Wheelmap's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 25%) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Toilet Map sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wheelmap asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Toilet Map holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Wheelmap's written reviews are positive against 25% of The Toilet Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wheelmap ships an update every 6 months, The Toilet Map every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
