# Bimmerpost vs VanAlert

The clearest difference is ads: Bimmerpost at none against VanAlert's shown. Bimmerpost also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7K vs 75). Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Bimmerpost against 4.7 for VanAlert. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bimmerpost has 7K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two.
