# Bimmerpost vs Carvonix

The clearest difference is ads: Bimmerpost at none against Carvonix's shown. Bimmerpost also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (7K vs 41). Carvonix's advantage is review sentiment (95% vs 65%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bimmerpost holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bimmerpost has 7K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Bimmerpost's written reviews are positive against 95% of Carvonix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bimmerpost ships an update every 5 days, Carvonix weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
