# Bimmerpost vs Slate Forums

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bimmerpost at every 5 days against Slate Forums's every 5 months. Bimmerpost also leads on ratings volume (7K vs 1). Slate Forums's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Slate Forums holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bimmerpost has 7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bimmerpost ships an update every 5 days, Slate Forums every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
