# Compass × vs (fun) Compass

The clearest difference is rating: Compass × at 4.6 against (fun) Compass's 4.0. Compass × also leads on ratings volume (8.3K vs 2). (fun) Compass's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Compass × sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and (fun) Compass sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
